Kelvedon for Lotus news

Pat and the Kelvedon team had great success on their first Group C Race at Spa over the weekend 17-18 May.  After overcoming numerous fuel tank problems and sleepless nights they made it to the event!

It was all worthwhile, Pat achieved second in class on both days in the 30 minute sprint and 90 minute endurance refuelling race.

The team were also awarded the “Spirit of the Meeting Award” for the effort they all put in to make it to the meeting.  Sunoco fuel also awarded them with a fuel voucher for £100 (which may just about wet the sides on the tank).

The team are now preparing for the next race at Le Mans on Saturday 14th June, where Pat will be fulfilling his lifetime ambition to race at the circuit.  The Group C cars are competing in conjunction with Motor Racing Legends in a support race to the 24 hour Le Mans event.
