Kelvedon for Lotus news

After having a great season last year with the Group C car, we wanted to dig out and rebuild what we call the Modsports Car, which we originally built in 1980 raced by myself and Andrew Wareing in numerous Modsport and GT races.  Now she is getting on in years like its owner, we thought it was time to re-live my youth.  Instead of having a dolly bird and a gold medallion I thought it would be safer,  less expensive and on Sue’s recommendation to rebuild the car.  Tiny Tony has been beavering away in the raceshop looking at times like the Homepride flour grader, he left his bowler hat on a coat peg at Donington about 20 years ago, if anyone finds it could they please return it, as his hair is now getting thin his head gets a bit cold!

We plan on racing in the Heritage Grand Touring Car Challenge or the Aston Martin Super GT series in 2010, that’s if I can keep Tony’s nose to the grindstone! Really looking forward to being out in the old car again providing I can get fit enough, if not Tony says I will be replaced by a younger paying driver.
